Resident Manager

Seeking a qualified individual to fill a Resident Manager position. The property is an 8-story community with 49 condo units, two elevators, a recreation deck, and a heated, saltwater pool located in the Punahou area. This individual must be hands-on, have great interpersonal skills, be able to multi-task, manage vendors and complex projects, be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic.

Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience as a resident/site manager preferred or experience in a related field
• Experience and ability to perform building maintenance, janitorial and landscape maintenance
• Experience maintaining a heated, saltwater pool or willingness to be certified
• Ability to work within a budget and prepare monthly reports
• Basic computer skills, including email and word processing
• Energetic and assertive with a positive attitude, able to interact with a wide range of people
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to solve problems involving residents, vendors, emergency situations, etc.
• Must have a vehicle, valid Hawaii Driver’s license, proof of insurance, and current automobile registration
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week, including 24-hour emergency availability
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.

Scope and Compensation Package

• 40 hours per week and on-call as needed
• Salary $44,000.00+
• Studio Apartment + extra room/1 Bath/1 Parking provided, including utilities (electricity, water, cable, internet, cell phone)
